GTSnext: The European Contribution to EARTHTIME
GTSnext is a Marie Curie Initial Training Network, funded by the European Community 7th Framework Program. Tiffany participated in the project from September 2009 through August 2012 at the QUADLAB, hosted at Roskilde University in Roskilde, Denmark. Her work focused on intercalibrating 40Ar/39Ar and astronomical dating techniques by dating Pleistocene tephras associated with geomagnetic polarity reversals. The ages were obtained on a NuInstruments Noblesse multi-collector noble gas mass spectrometer.
Tiffany's work was project 1.2 of GTSnext. Her results aid in the multi-system calibration of the Neogene geologic timescale.
