PLIO-PLEISTOCENE VOLCANISM, SNAKE RIVER PLAIN, IDAHO
Tiffany began her involvement with Plio-Pleistocene basaltic volcanism in 2005 upon enrolling in a Master's program at Boise State University, under the direction of Drs. Mark Schmitz and Craig White. She focused on interpreting Rb-Sr, Sm-Nd, and U-Pb isotopic signatures as an indicator for mantle source. Further, this led to the development of a regional model for volcanism, including links to the Jordan Valley Volcanic Field, Columbia River Group basalts, and the Yellowstone hotspot.
